As we all know, the food in Japan is really good. Since this time, we plan our trip to Hokkaido on our own, so we get to stop at wherever we want to, and eat whatever we feel like to eat. Here are some recommendations.
The melon. During the summer time, Hokkaido produces lots of melons. They either just cut them and eat, or make them into things like melon favor ice cream and juice. Hokkaido’s melons are very sweet and juicy. And the color is very orange. If you can have a bite of it in this hot summer day, it will help cool you down.
Another thing, you have to try is the crabs there. The crabs there are all very big. The meat is very tasty. If you put some salt on it, you don’t need any other sauces. It’s already very good. And also, Hokkaido is near the ocean, so I can assure you that the crabs are 100% fresh.
The milk here is good as well. Hokkaido has many pastures so the milk there is very fresh and tasty. So that means, whatever is made of the Hokkaido milk will taste good as well, like ice cream!! I love the ice cream there. As I mentioned, Hokkaido has lots of melons and lavenders. So don't be surprised, if you see someone is selling lavender favor and melon favor ice cream on the street. You should try them because you would never see them in places like Shanghai.
Normally, I wouldn't suggest you to eat at the hotel. However, at here, if you are staying in a Japanese hotel, you can try the food in the hotel. They have different sets every night. I guarantee you it’s very Japanese and healthy.
Hopefully, you are already drooling at the moment. Hokkaido, an amazing place, huh??
